Google had been registered as a privately held company for just 5 months when we built our first site, Tony Blair was starting his second term as Prime Minister & Manchester United were about to win their first ever Champions League Trophy.

PPC CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
Within a year of Colewood being up & running Google launched the Adwords programme, initially arriving as a monthly subscription service & eventually becoming a pay per click model. We really felt that Adwords was setup for us.
We won new business through promoting our own website via Adwords & in 2001 setup our first ever account on behalf of one of our clients.
As time has gone on more & more companies have jumped on the Adwords band wagon which has ultimately led to Google becoming very rich indeed ($28 billion Adwords revenue in 2010) whilst the rest of us have seen our margins slowly shrinking as our competitors increase their bids daily.
