I have just been reading that Miscrosoft expect to sell 300M copies of Windows 7 during this year. I have been using Win7 since its went beta and I have to say it is a great OS, a genuine step forward from XP and is probably what Vista always should have been. Also of interest to me today was hardware giant Acers prediction that the price of PCs is going to go up over the next year for what is basically the first time ever in the history of PCs. Acers CEO reckons that Eurozone consumers may see a hike of as much as 12% for equivalent machinery over the next year. Moores Law apparently taking a year off?
