WEB DEVELOPER

Job type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We’re looking for a web developer to work with some of our senior members of staff
on various internal tools which are used by our marketing staff.

As well as working on our internal tools, you’ll also be tasked in making changes to
some of our client’s websites. Our clients range from small companies, to a large
UK supermarket.

In the development team we have a culture of furthering ourselves and staying
current with all of the latest and greatest technologies so we regularly attend
conferences around the UK, and we’re usually well represented at most of the
leading PHP conferences in the UK. As a developer you will get the opportunity to
attend these conferences and grow your knowledge and experience of new
technologies.

You’ll have some experience of:
- HTML
- CSS
- Javascript
- PHP
- MySQL

It’d be advantageous if you have experience with any of the following:
- WordPress
- Magento
- Nginx
- PHP-FPM
- Vagrant
- Ansible
- Linux Administration (Centos)
- Modern PHP Frameworks (e.g. Laravel / FuelPHP)
- Bower
- Gulp
- LESS
- Continuous Integration (Jenkins / Teamcity)
- Git
- PHPUnit
- PHING

Digital Marketing and Project Executive

Job type: Permanent, full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a marketing and project executive.

As marketing and project executive you will be working in partnership with one of the Uk’s largest PLC’s to develop and manage their existing tyres site.

Joining a developing marketing team you will be responsible for day to day marketing activities and project management.

You will report to the marketing and project manager and will be an integral part of the marketing and project management process. The role is full of variety and you will need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks. You will be organised and structured and be able to plan and manage your workload. You will work with different management levels across a number of businesses so you will be confident in speaking and able to get your views across in a professional manner.

Key responsibilities
- To be responsible for various marketing initiatives as defined by the marketing strategy such as literature, media coverage, advertising, website development and development, promotional materials or events.
- Keeping track of marketing project and deadlines
- Website updates – working with partners to make sure the website content is relevant and updated
- Day to day metric marketing and ecommerce metric reporting
- Weekly metric and ecommerce reporting
- Attending client meetings
- Putting together presentations
- Working with customer services to develop new initiatives and website updates

Skills
- Marketing and project management experience is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships at all levels
- Pro-active attitude, taking ownership of deliverables
- Enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable and resilient.
- High level of computer literacy and digital marketing
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
- Enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable and resilient.
- Hitwise and google analytics experience is desirable but not essential.
